Healthy Nightlife Toolbox

In search for interventions to prevent alcohol- and drug problems in nightlife settings

The Healthy Nightlife Toolbox (HNT) project collects data on interventions in Europe, targeted at reducing and preventing harm caused by alcohol and drugs in nightlife. Below you will find a web link to a short questionnaire related to evaluated interventions developed for and implemented in nightlife settings. In case you are personally involved in any way in these types of interventions, we would be very grateful if you could complete the questionnaire. And please forward the questionnaire to your contacts in European countries who might have developed, implemented and/or evaluated such interventions.

Note 1: you need to complete the questionnaire in one session or your entry will not be saved. It will take you about 10 minutes.
Note 2: in case you want to have an overview of the questions in the web questionnaire: you can find them in the PDF: HNT overview short questionnaire (at the bottom of this article).
Note 3: you can use the link again for every additional intervention you want to submit.
Note 4: deadlines for submission are

  • April 1st 2016. Provided that it is suitable, your intervention will be published on HNT web site before May 2nd 2016 (HNT launch at meeting EU drug coordinators).
  • June 1st 2016.  Provided that it is suitable, your intervention will be published on HNT web site: July 1st 2016 (end of updating process).
  • November 1st 2016. Provided that is suitable, your intervention will be published on HNT web site: January 1st 2016.

If your intervention is selected for the database, you will be invited to fill in another questionnaire, asking for more details about the intervention.

The HNT started in 2008 as an EU project and is now updated with the help of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) and the Dutch government, under its EU Presidency. The Trimbos-institute in the Netherlands coordinates the update, in cooperation with the John Moores University in Liverpool (UK).
