We aim to improve the quality of life by contributing socially and economically with our knowledge about mental health and (preventing the use of) addictive substances such as tobacco, alcohol and drugs.
Alcohol and tobacco
We monitor the use of alcohol and tobacco, research the impact of these substances on society, provide advice to the general public and develop interventions for professionals. Most of these products are in Dutch but can be provided in English if desired. Get in touch to learn more.
We track changes in drug use, health and social consequences and drug markets through various monitoring systems and research programs. We both aim to prevent drug use and reduce harm. We provide products for health professionals, policy makers and the general public.
We offer guidance and support for providing mental health, as well as offering information and expertise on mental health concerns, from depression to dementia. Also, our experts guide institutions and governments in the development and evaluation of mental health policies.
